"Cabaret Fiesta Cubana"
A Spectacular Cultural Event direct from Cuba Not to Be Missed!
At The Westin Grand Ballroom Sunday 22 June 2008 7.30pm sharp (CORRECTED 30/5/08)
We are bestowed with a rare opportunity to host a international 26 artist cabaret troupe consisting of 11 elegant dancers, 4 fabulous singers and 7 musicians direct from Cuba known as "Baila Cuba" which will be showcased at The Westin Kuala Lumpur.
In response to this rare opportunity, we are organizing a private dinner event to host their gala cabaret performance known as "Cabaret Fiesta Cubana", a 2 hour spectacular musical and dance showcase with opening tribute to Buena Vista Social Club, contemporary and cultulral musical with amazing Cabaret Dance Performance with fabulous costumes.
The structure of dinner table consists of the following:
Exclusive VIP Table : Priced at RM 7,000.00
A 10 pax sitting with full 3 course dinner with appetizer, main course, and dessert with tea and coffee.
Wine per table, 2 glasses for each seats, choice of Red and White Wine.
Cuban Cigars for discerning gentlemen.
Exclusive table have close proximity to the stage and surrounds the master VVIP table.
Premium Table : Priced at RM 6,000.00
A 10 pax sitting with full 3 course dinner with appetizer, main course, and dessert with tea and coffee.
Wine per table, 2 glasses for each seats, choice of Red and White Wine.
Standard Table : Priced at RM 5,000.00
A 10 pax sitting with full 3 course dinner with appetizer, main course, and dessert with tea and coffee.
Wine per table, 2 glasses for each seats, choice of Red and White Wine.
Alternatively, sparkling and soft drinks are available.
For additional drinks, a bar will be provided for drinks purchase from the Hotel.
Cheques are payable to "Havana Estudio Sdn Bhd" in full.

The last time we had Cuban dancers from the "Lady Salsa" production was in town, it was October 2003, when KL Caliente took KL by storm with our public dancing with them, and chance exchanges with the dancers, which was like a chance of a lifetime. You can see how it changed our students' lives, namely Shiva, who himself set up a dance school and loves Cuban style Salsa above all else, and other members of KL Caliente (see antique pictures below)...

Remembered 'Lady Salsa' was being performed in Genting in October 2002 as it was indeed a very memorable time for me. Will never forget the time spent there as it has a great impact on my life from then on.  |

My first epifany to salsa was actually lady salsa. I was up @ genting when i heaeded down to the club there where lady salsa team was performing and thinking back now it all comes back to me where was the first time I meet shiva~!!!. *LOL
following from that day onwards passion frm the dance sparked like wild fire. Confirmation came when i saw sam & aisha @ KUOK Foundation dinner where they performed. *LOL.
yes indeed lady salsa arrival to malaysia impact many especially me as it was "MY FIRST TIME"~! wa akakka

So far, no one's come up to me willing to pay RM700 for a ticket. So unless you have a big trust fund and have not been effected by rising prices, I don't forsee a change in this situation.
BUT, it promises to be a very fantabulous affair! |

An event will soon be confirmed by Havana Estudio and will be featuring Baila Cuba and social dancing at a new cool location in Kuala Lumpur. Please keep your Sat 21st June, 2008, free. Probably around matinee time.
